Our Kazakhstan program is a very appealing program. Kazakhstan is one of most popular places from which to adopt. The children from Kazakhstan are of either Asian heritage or a combination of Asian and Caucasian heritage. This combination of two cultures has made Kazakhstan a unique and fascinating country. The Kazakh people are very kind, and you will feel welcome in their country. The orphanages are well taken care of, and the children are generally in good health. You are able to visit the orphanage while in the country and meet the child to whom you will be referred by the Kazakhstan government. Then you will spend two weeks with the child in order to bond with one another.
Adoption ARK also supports many orphanages in Kazakhstan through our charity, ARKmission. Our staff in Kazakhstan has many years of experience in assisting with adoptions. Their knowledge and commitment to the children and our clients create a very favorable adoption experience.
Adoption ARK is registered with the Kazakhstan Embassy.
The role of Adoption Ark is to prepare dossier for prospective adoptive family, to provide training and to pre-qualify the family for adoption based on submitted documents. Adoption Ark process dossier through Kazakhstan consulate. Adoption Ark sends dossier to the Ministry of foreign affairs in Kazakhstan. The family receives an official invitation to travel to Kazakhstan. Adoption Ark assists families with hiring a translator, driver and attorney (if necessary) for court representation.
How to Start Your Kazakhstan Adoption Process
- Read the information on this page and contact us with questions, or fill out our no-commitment registration form and an adoption consultant will contact you with more information.
- If you decide this program is for you, then request an adoption contract from your consultant, complete it, and send it in to our Illinois office with the initial fee.
- Your contract will be reviewed and approved by our director, and then you will be assigned a caseworker to complete your adoption.
- Your caseworker will inform you of the steps needed to move forward with your adoption. Some of these steps include:
- Submitting your petition to adopt an orphan from overseas (I600A form) to the USCIS
- Starting your home study if you do not have one completed
- Collecting documents and forms needed for your adoption dossier
- Once your dossier is complete, all documents need to be notarized and appostilled.
- Send in your notarized, appostilled, and complete dossier to your caseworker.
- Your caseworker will make sure the dossier is correct. She will then send it through the stages of approval, and eventually you will find yourselves invited to travel.
