Patti Boucher
Patti Boucher, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for 20 years, has extensive experience working with trauma, stress related disorders and chronic behavior problems in children and teens. Her experience includes working in group homes, juvenile hall, homeless shelters, public and private schools, spiritual communities, hospitals and 20 years of private practice. She and her husband themselves fost-adopted two boys who had a traumatic start in life, and have learned a great deal on their journey. Patti helps parents in developing attachment through deep heart connections to our children. She teaches compassionate communication, healthy effective discipline techniques and tips for setting healthy boundaries. Her services include support and guidance for the difficult behavior issues that often surface with this special population, and the unique stresses and joys that come from adoptive parenting.

The Attachment Therapy Group
The staff of the Attachment Therapy Group addresses attachment and other childhood difficulties, especially those related to foster care and adoption. These include Reactive Attachment Disorder and other behavioral challenges as well as issues around trauma or divorce. We utilize different modalities such as Dyadic developmental psychotherapy, Theraplay, Filial therapy, Play therapy, Family therapy and Couples therapy.
