- $3000 -application and documentation fee is a non-refundable fee and is retained by Adoption ARK within 72 hours of the agreement being received by Adoption ARK. This is the fee that covers our company overhead, salary for Adoption ARK staff, and office rent. We also provide our clients with all forms and instructions necessary to prepare dossier.
- $2,500 – dossier processing fee is non-refundable once the dossier is completed and processed by Adoption ARK. This fee covers case worker time spent on proofreading and correcting your paperwork, translation of your dossier, consulate fees if applicable, FedEx and other expenses related to dossier preparation and legalization.
- Country assignment fee is non-refundable once the Adoptive Family formally accepts (via emailing willingness to proceed with travel) the invitation to travel to the region or when the Adoptive Family formally accepts the country assignment. This fee is spent on organizing the adoption trip for adoptive family, scheduling appointments, in country paperwork legalization, other in country expenses.
Foreign Fees Refunds
Reminder: Adoption ARK and the Adoptive Family understand that the in-country bonding period is the time when the family makes their final decision about accepting the preferred child if he or she is available at the time of the Adoptive Family’s travel. If the Adoptive Family does not want to proceed with adoption of the preferred child, Adoption ARK agrees to arrange one more referral for the Adoptive Family with at least one more child assignment at no additional service fee. Such referral may or may not be available on the same trip.
Foreign Fee Refund Policy
$2000 is a non-refundable donation and covers adoption preparation expenses. If the Adoptive Family decides to leave the country prior to the court hearing for whatever reason, the family will be refunded all foreign fees except the above mentioned amount and
$300/day starting from the day of arrival in the country.
All foreign fees are non-refundable once parents appear in the regional court with the intention to adopt a child or children.
Disclaimer: Adoptive Family may be entitled to refund of the payment made to Adoption Ark based on the Refund Policy. At no point shall Adoption ARK be required to refund fees not directly paid to Adoption Ark or to be reimbursed for third party expenses (hotel, airfares, food, taxi).
There are over 20 people that are involved in each adoption case. All fees are service related, and at no point are adoptive families are required to pay for the child.
