Hi Alla
So sorry to be late in getting this to you. It's been busy around here! I spoke with Ellen and she expects to get Kristina's post placement report to me by next week. I'll have it apostilled as soon as it gets here and then send it to you the next day.
Here are a few pictures of Kristina -- I'll include more with the report. One pic is of Julia and Kristina standing in front of the house on their first day of school and another of her bowling for the first time. The rest were taken in August on the east coast of North Carolina where we vacationed. She loved the ocean!
Kristina is turning 7 years old on October 13th and she's really excited about her first birthday party in America with her family! She's also looking forward to bringing treats for her class next week in honor of her birthday. She really likes school and is very outgoing and friendly. Although, her teacher tells me that Kristina does have a mind of her own on occasion. No surprise there! She's a firecracker...
Kristina is also beginning to make her Christmas list, which should be a mile long by then time Santa is ready to visit... She asked me the other day if Santa will bring something for our dog, Nugget and our cat, Buddy; she was happy to learn that he probably will. She really is an animal lover and often gives Nugget and Buddy more attention than they want!
Kristina is a loving and wonderful daughter. She's also a good little sister to Julia and a good friend to the many neighbor children that live on our cul de sac. She's very happy to have us and we are so blessed to have her. She really has completed our family in the best way possible!
